WWE could re-sign Cain Velasquez despite his disastrous first run with the company.
That is the view of former WWE producer Arn Anderson, who insists wrestling fans have not seen the last of the former UFC star.
Velasquez signed a multi-year contract with WWE last October, and there were high hopes for him.
However, he had just one match, which he lost to Brock Lesnar in less than three minutes at Crown Jewel, before being let go in April as part of cuts brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
Anderson, who left WWE last year, can see Vince McMahon going back in for Velasquez.
Via Wrestling Inc, he told his ARN podcast: “When things heat back up, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get re-signed with WWE, because I don’t think they’ve got the full benefit out of him.

“I don’t think he’s had a chance with enough training and [I don’t think] we’ve seen the last or the best of him.
“I think he has so much raw athletic ability and he has such a look. I mean, he scares me just looking at him on TV.
“He’s got that Eye of the Tiger gimmick.”
